2. | 2 cups of strong brewed coffee, cooled |
3. | 1/4 cup of coffee liqueur (optional) |
4. | 1 cup of raw cashews, soaked for at least 4 hours or overnight |
5. | 1/2 cup of coconut cream |
6. | 1/2 cup of maple syrup |
7. | 2 tbsp of lemon juice |
8. | 1 tbsp of vanilla extract |
9. | Cocoa powder for dusting |
Steps of Vegan Tiramisu Recipe

1. | Brew the coffee and set it aside to cool. Add the coffee liqueur (if using) to the cooled coffee. |
2. | In a blender or food processor, blend the soaked cashews, coconut cream, maple syrup, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. |
3. | Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture for a few seconds, making sure they are fully coated, but not soggy. |
4. | Place the soaked ladyfingers in a single layer at the bottom of an 8x8 inch square dish. Cover the ladyfingers with a layer of the cashew cream mixture. |
5. | Repeat the process, creating another layer of soaked ladyfingers and another layer of the cashew cream mixture. Repeat until you have used all the ladyfingers and cashew cream, finishing with a layer of cashew cream on top. |
6. | Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight. |
7. | Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder. |
8. | Slice and serve chilled. |
Tips:
- Make sure the coffee is fully cooled before dipping the ladyfingers to avoid them getting too soggy.
- Soak the cashews overnight or for at least 4 hours to make sure they blend smoothly.
- If you don't have coconut cream, you can use the thick part of a can of full-fat coconut milk instead.
- Add a bit of extra coffee liqueur to the coffee mixture for a stronger coffee flavor.
