How to make Vegan Stir Fry ?

Ingredients for Vegan Stir Fry

# Ingredients
1. 1/2 cup of uncooked white or brown rice
2. 1 tablespoon of oil for cooking
3. 1 large onion, sliced
4. 2 cloves of garlic, minced
5. 2 bell peppers, sliced
6. 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
7. 2 stalks of celery, sliced
8. 1 head of broccoli, chopped into florets
9. 1/2 cup of snow peas or sugar snap peas
10. 1/4 cup of soy sauce
11. 2 tablespoons of hoisin sauce
12. 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
13. 2 tablespoons of water
14. Salt and pepper, to taste

Steps of Vegan Stir Fry

# Steps
1. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
2. In a large wok or skillet, heat the oil over high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Add the bell peppers, carrots, celery, broccoli, and snow peas to the wok. Stir-fry until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, and water.
5. Pour the sauce over the stir-fry and cook until thickened, about 2 minutes.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve the stir-fry over the cooked rice. Enjoy!
