1. 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2. 2-3 cloves garlic, chopped
3. 1/4 cup tahini
4. 2 tbsp lemon juice
5. 2 tbsp olive oil
6. 1/4 tsp salt
7. 1/4 tsp cumin
8. 3-4 tbsp water
9. Paprika and olive oil (for serving)

1. In a food processor or blender, combine chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and cumin.
2. Pulse until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. If the mixture seems too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
3. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
4. Transfer the hummus to a serving dish and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika.
5. Serve with pita bread, fresh vegetables, or crackers.
Tips:
  • If you prefer your hummus to be thinner, add a little more water until you reach your desired consistency.
  • For an extra creamy texture, peel the chickpeas before blending. It may take a little more time, but it's worth it!
  • Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your liking. Add more lemon juice for acidity or more salt for flavor.
