Ingredients for Tawa Pulao Recipe

1. | 1 cup basmati rice, soaked |
2. | 1/4 cup shelled green peas |
3. | ¼ cup boiled potatos, cut in to 1 inch piece |
4. | ¼ cup capsicum, cut in to 1 inch piece |
5. | 1 medium onion, cut in to 1 inch piece |
6. | 1 large tomato, chopped |
7. | 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste |
8. | ¾ tbsp cumin seeds |
9. | 2 tbsp Pavbhaji Masala |
10. | ¼ tbsp turmeric powder |
11. | ½ tbsp red chili powder |
12. | 1 tbsp oil |
13. | 2 tbsp butter |
14. | ¼ tbsp lemon juice |
15. | 8- 10 roasted cashew nut |
16. | Green Coriander leaves, chopped |
17. | Salt to taste |
Steps of Tawa Pulao Recipe
# | Steps |

1. | In a pan cook the rice with 2 cup water, salt and lemon juice. |
2. | Heat oil and butter in a pan; add cumin seeds. When seeds crackle add onion and ginger-garlic paste. Sauté for three minute. |
3. | Add turmeric powder, Pavbhaji masala, and red chili powder, salt and mix well. |
4. | Add tomato and cook for five minute. Add boiled potato, capsicum, green peas and saute for a minute. |
5. | Add boiled rice and mix well. Cook for 2 minute. |
6. | Garnish with coriander leaf, roasted cashew nut and serve hot. |
