1. | 1cup broken wheat |
2. | 3/4 cup jaggery |
3. | 1ltr milk |
4. | 2cups water |
5. | 1tsp ghee |
6. | 3 to 5 pcs cashew |
7. | 10 to 12 pcs raisins |
8. | 7 to 8 pcs almond |
9. | 1pinch jaifal powder |
10. | 1pinch elaichi powder |
Steps of Broken wheat kheer Recipe
# | Steps |

1. | Heat ghee in a vessel |
2. | Saute broken wheat and cashew till it turns light brown in color |
3. | Add raisins and water and pressure cook for 2 whistles |
4. | Once cooked add milk and boil |
5. | Add jaggery to boiled milk |
6. | Stir constantly till jaggery melts |
7. | Switch off the flame once milk thickens |
8. | Add finely cut almond, jaifal powder and elaichi powder |
9. | Serve hot or cold |
