1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Add the vegan butter and vegetable shortening, and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Gradually add in the ice water, one tablespoon at a time, mixing until the dough comes together in a ball.
