Ingredients for Vegan Mashed Potatoes

# Ingredients
1. 2 lbs (900 g) of potatoes, peeled and chopped
2. 1/4 cup (60 ml) of unsweetened almond milk
3. 2 tablespoons (30 g) of vegan butter
4. Salt and pepper, to taste
5. Fresh chives, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Steps of Vegan Mashed Potatoes

# Steps
1. Put the chopped potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water.
2. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
3. Drain the potatoes and return them to the saucepan.
4. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or a fork.
5. Add the almond milk and vegan butter to the mashed potatoes and continue to mash until well combined and smooth.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. If desired, garnish with chopped chives.
8. Serve hot and enjoy!
