1. | 6 medium ripe tomatoes |
2. | 1 medium carrot |
3. | 6 cloves garlic, chopped |
4. | 2 celery, 1 inch stick (optional) |
5. | 1 medium onion, sliced |
6. | 1/4 tbsp oil |
7. | 1 tbsp butter |
8. | 1 bay leaf |
9. | 4 black peppers |
10. | 1/2 tbsp black pepper powder |
11. | 1 tbsp sugar |
12. | 1/4 cup fresh cream |
13. | Salt to taste |
Steps of Tomato Soup Recipe

1. | Wash the tomatoes and carrot and cut into large piece. |
2. | Heat the oil and butter in a deep pan and add bay leaf, pepper, sliced onion and sauté for 5 minutes or till onion becomes soft and translucent. |
3. | Add garlic and celery and sauté for a minute. |
4. | Add carrot and tomatoes and mix well. Add 3 cup water and mix well. |
5. | When it starts to boil cover with the lid and cook for 10 to 15 minutes on low flame. |
6. | Strain the mixture and reserve the liquid. Remove the bay leaf. And wait for mixture to cool down. |
7. | When mixture cool down grind to a smooth paste by adding little reserve liquor. |
8. | Pass through sieve and strain the mixture well using spoon. |
9. | Add the reserve liquor and place it on stove to cook further (add water if mixture is thick). |
10. | Add salt, black pepper powder and sugar and simmer for 5 minutes. |
11. | Add cream and mix well and Switch off the flame |
12. | Serve hot with bread croutons. |
