1. | 2 tbps cumin seeds(jeera) |
2. | 1 tbps corriender seeds(dhaniya) |
3. | 1 tsp black pepper (kali mirch) |
4. | 10-12 cloves(laung) |
5. | 2 bay leafs(tej patte) |
6. | 2 cinnamon(dalchini) |
7. | 1 black cardamom(badi kali ilaichi) |
8. | 3-4 green cardamom(green ilaichi) |
9. | 10-12 cashew nuts(kaju) |
10. | 10-12 dry red chillis(sukhi lal mirch) |
Steps of Punjabi Garam Masala Recipe
# | Steps |
---|---|
1. | Turn on gas with low to medium flame and put pan on it |
2. | First we ads 2 tbps jeera ,, rost it for 2 min than take out from pan |
3. | Than add 1 tbps sabut dhaniya ,, rost it for 2 min than take out form pan |
4. | Now we add kali mirch,laung,tej patta,dalchini,dono type ki ilaichi,kaju and rost this for 3-4 min |
5. | We add 10-12 sukhi lal mirch and rost this for 2 min ,, than we take out all masala from pan |
6. | Cool down completely all masala |
7. | After cooldown we grind this all masala in mixer and make fine powder |
8. | Our homemade garam masala is ready |
9. | You can stor this for 3-4 month in air tight jar |
