Farsi Puri is a tradition Gujarati Snack. IT is made using all purpose flour or whole wheat flour. Here, I share my recipe of Farsi Puri using Roti maker. Ingredients for Farsi Puri in Roti Maker Recipe

1. | 2 cup all purpose flour (Maida) |
2. | 1 tbsp black peppercorn powder |
3. | 3 tbsp ghee or cooking oil |
4. | 1/2 tbsp cumin powder |
5. | Oil for deep fry |
6. | Salt to taste |
Steps of Farsi Puri in Roti Maker Recipe

1. | In bowl mix flour, black peppercorn, cumin powder, salt and 3 tbsp oil and mix it well. |
2. | Add enough water and knead semi-soft dough (soft dough as chapatti dough). |
3. | Cover the dough and keep aside for 10 minutes. |
4. | Divide dough in to 50 equal portions. And give them round shape and press in between your palm. |
5. | Heat the Roti maker. Take one portion and place into Roti maker and press it( you can also put two puri simultaneously). |
6. | (When you press in a hot Roti maker, It cooks half.) |
7. | Remove from roti maker and place into a plate. Repeat same for all portions. |
8. | Heat the sufficient oil in a deep pan. |
9. | Deep fry the pressed puris on medium flame until they become light brown. |
10. | Drain and place it on an absorbent paper and let it cool down. |
11. | Store it in an air tight container. |
