Ingredients for Rava Dhokla Recipe (Semolina Dhokla)

# Ingredients
1. 1 1/2 cup Semolina (rava)
2. 1/2 cup curd
3. 1 tbsp green chili paste
4. 2 tbsp oil
5. 1 1/2 tbsp fruit salt
6. 1 tbsp mustard seeds
7. 1 tbsp sesame seeds
8. 1/4 tbsp asafoetida
9. 1/4 tbsp red chili powder
10. 1/4 tbsp pepper powder
11. 6 curry leaves
12. Salt as per taste
13. Fresh green Coriander, chopped

Steps of Rava Dhokla Recipe (Semolina Dhokla)

# Steps
1. In a bowl combine semolina, curd and 1 1/2 cup water in a bowl and mix well.
2. Cover the bowl and keep aside for 30 min.
3. Heat steamer with sufficient water. And grease the plate (Thali) with oil.
4. In the mixture add green chili paste and salt and mix well.
5. Just before steaming the battler add fruit salt and whisk well.
6. Pour the mixture immediately in a greased plate and sprinkle red chili powder and pepper powder. And put plate in the steamer
7. Steam it for 10 minutes in the steamer. And keep aside
8. Heat oil in a small pan and add mustard seeds and sesame seeds. When seeds crackle add asafoetida and curry leaves.
9. Pour tempering over the dhoklas and Sprinkle coriander evenly
10. Cut into the square piece and serve with green chutney.
