Ingredients for Black gram Dal Recipe

# Ingredients
1. 1 cup Black Gram Split
2. 1 tbsp ghee
3. ½ tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
4. 1 tbsp ginger- garlic paste
5. 2 green chili, Chopped
6. 1 medium tomato, Chopped
7. ¼ tbsp Turmeric powder
8. ¼ tbsp red chili powder
9. ¾ tbsp coriander- cumin powder
10. Salt as per taste
11. 2 tbsp coriander Leaves, chopped

Steps of Black gram Dal Recipe

# Steps
1. Wash the Black gram dal and soaked it for one hour.
2. Heat butter in a pressure cooker and add cumin seeds. When seed crackle add Black gram split, ginger garlic paste, green chili, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander – cumin powder, tomato, salt and mix well. Add two cup water and stir it.
3. Close the lid and cook it up to four whistles. One whistle on high flame and three on low flame.
4. After escaping the steam open the lid and add coriander and mix well.
5. Serve with chapatti or rice.
