1. 1 head cauliflower, chopped into bite-sized pieces

3. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
4. 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
5. 1/2 tsp garlic powder
6. 1/2 tsp onion powder
7. 1/2 tsp salt
8. 1/4 tsp black pepper
9. 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
10. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

Steps of Vegan Cauliflower Gratin Recipe

# Steps
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. Steam or blanch the cauliflower until it's tender but still slightly firm. Drain and set aside.
3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the vegan butter.
4. Add the flour and whisk constantly for 1-2 minutes until the mixture starts to turn golden.
5. Slowly pour in the almond milk, whisking constantly to prevent any lumps from forming.
6. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and continue to whisk until the mixture starts to thicken, about 5-7 minutes.
7. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the nutritional yeast.
8. Add the cauliflower to the saucepan and stir until the cauliflower is evenly coated.
9. Transfer the cauliflower mixture to a baking dish.
10. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the top of the cauliflower.
11. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
