How to make Vegan Tacos ?

Ingredients for Vegan Tacos

# Ingredients
1. 8-10 soft or hard taco shells
2. 1 tablespoon of oil
3. 1 large onion, chopped
4. 2 cloves of garlic, minced
5. 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
6. 1 teaspoon of chili powder
7. 1 teaspoon of cumin
8. Salt and pepper, to taste
9. 1 cup of salsa
10. 1 avocado, pitted and mashed
11. 1/2 cup of shredded lettuce
12. 1/2 cup of diced tomato
13. 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
14. Lime wedges, for serving

Steps of Vegan Tacos

# Steps
1. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
2. Stir in the black beans, chili powder, and cumin. Cook until the beans are heated through, about 5 minutes.
3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. To assemble the tacos, spread a spoonful of salsa on the bottom of each taco shell.
5. Top with a spoonful of the black bean mixture, followed by a dollop of mashed avocado.
6. Sprinkle shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and chopped cilantro on top.
7. Serve the tacos with lime wedges and additional salsa, if desired. Enjoy!
